Competitive parents and players will have an opportunity to provide feedback on their coach and assistant coaches through an online survey.
Please keep an eye on your e-mail and take the few minutes to fill out the survey. The Association does read them and they are used to improve our association

| Peewee C raise the bar at the Rail City Challenge |

As a substitute for the forthcoming Nepean tournament for which our application was not accepted due to oversubscription, Peewee C elected to participate in the Rail City Challenge in St Albans VT this past weekend. Faced with A and B level teams from Montreal and Vermont expectations were understandably modest but In a near repeat of recent Peewee B heroics in Aylmer Peewee C came runners-up in the Championship game against a gritty team from Dollard.
A hot start against favoured Dollard caught everyone by surprise and the 3-0 score line barely did justice to what was arguably one of our best performances of the season. There followed a close run thing against host St Albans but the tying goal with 56 seconds on the clock was just reward for the persistent pressure that we had applied. A one goal victory against an awkward Lakeshore team saw us justifiably as top seed after the preliminary round robin. There followed a rematch against Lakeshore in the semi-final and the fact that they came back at us from being 2-0 down was testament to their resolve. However, with one last push the girls upped their game once more to secure another win and a spot in the final with just 28 seconds left to play this time. However, a fairytale ending was not to be as we met Dollard in the Championship final. Not to be caught off guard again they came at us hard after relinquishing an early goal and edged into a 2-1 lead which they doggedly hung on to with ICE being denied on the goal line in the dying seconds.
The girls, parents and coaches have every reason to be proud of our performances and congratulations go to Camryn, Hannah, Selina, Kamryn and Maddie, in the final, for their Player of the Game awards, selected independently by the tournament organisers.
For any Peewee or Bantam teams this 12 & under and 14 & under girls tournament has much to offer and is worth considering next year.

Midget BB and Peewee B crossed the river to participate in the Aylmer Girls Tournament the tournament had the girls play starting on Wednesday night and then in the storm on Thursday.
The Midget BB team brought their "A" game as they were playing in the Midget A pool.
They had a great round robin with 13 goals for and only 2 against, with multi-goal games from several players and a hat-trick for Aisha !!
Both Goalies also had shutouts in the round robin !!
The Midget BB team felt very close to our Atom and Novice teams with a Saturday 8 AM game :-) which is much earlier than they like !
The finals were Saturday at 1Pm and the Ice fell behind 1-0, with less than 2 minutes left we pulled the goalie and 6 on 5, with 12.4 seconds remaining, the Ice scored to tie it up.
Great Job Girls !
The ice ended up with the silver following an OT goal by the Sherbrooke team.

An unbelievable 5 shut-outs in the round robin and finals, and only 1 goal against in the championship game, gave Bantam 2 the silver medals at the 10th. annual Kingston house league tournament. Although this was a tough loss in the final game, the team showed real sportsmanship and character all the way, accepting their medals with smiles and congratulations to the Kanata team. Coaching staff and parents, as well as the OGHA, can be so very proud of these girls in Kingston !!
